Render Types

Mineral Render

Monocouche Rendering Example

Monocouche Rendering Example

Mineral based render such as Monocouche is generally applied to masonry substrates. It is a cost effective rendering solution that can often be applied in one coat (of approx 15mm) making it quick to apply.

Mineral render also dries much quicker than most other renders so if  weather conditions are such that humidity and rain is approaching mineral based render can be a good option for your project.

Lime Render

Lime based render has many of the same properties as mineral render but it has little to no cement content and therefore it is generally more flexible with better breathability than a cement based render such as monocouche and therefore often used on properties constructed with lime mortar beds and solid wall construction. Lime render allows older properties to breathe.
